Question on Driving:

I have the opposite problem Maria, I'm not very flexible. What can I do to maximize my swing speed?

Hi Bob. Thanks for writing MyGolfInstructor.com.

Speed is created by how quickly you can move, which is determined by both flexibility and strength. Most men don't have an issue with strength until they become a senior and that is a good time to evaluate their equipment and see if it's still a good fit for them.

Flexibility exercises for the entire body would be a great thing to start with if you haven't already. No particular area to focus on, just do total body stretching and yoga if you like it. These drills here may help you gain some swing speed:
