Question on Driving:

What does it mean to get too "quick" with my driver? I have been told that I am too quick and I end up with a pull hook.

Usually when someone tells you you're getting quick, they mean that you are accelerating too soon from the top of the swing. This will make you come over the top of the swing plane and swing outside-in to the ball. The result can be a slice if the face is still open or a pull hook if the club face is closed. Make sure to unwind from the ground up. Leave your back facing the target a bit longer to prevent spinning open to the target too soon. It's a good idea to have a 1,2,3 count to your swing. 1 is the back swing. 2 is the transition move where your arms drop in the slot as your weight starts to shift to the target side. This should be a relaxed free fall. You are probably applying too much effort here with your upper body. 3 is your turn to the ball.
