Question on Golf Fitness:

How long will it take for golf fitness drills to make a difference in my golf swing? Will I notice better distance or more accuracy first?

Hi Dawn. Thanks for writing MyGolfInstructor.com. I'm looking forward to helping you with your game.

I believe this is different for each player. Some players for instance immediately notice more energy and can sustain that energy longer through the round simply because they have achieved a higher level of fitness. Others notice things such as more centered strikes and consistency with their shot pattern simply because their balance and stability levels have improved.

I think for anyone that wasn't doing any strength training prior to starting up golf exercises, they are going to see at least some increase in distance. The stronger you are, the faster you will be able to swing, provided you are flexible enough to do so.
