Indoor Drill - Tube Connection Drill

Description: Working on keeping your arms connected throughout the swing is easy with this Tube Connection Drill. It will help you arms stay together and work as a unit throughout the swing. It will also help you keep your arms working in sync with your rotating chest and shoulders.

Summary:
  1. For this drill you will need surgical tube, a belt, or even a pilates band. Make a loop with the tube and slide it just above your elbows anchoring your arms together.
  2. Without a club at first make practice swings swinging back and forth with your hands united in a grip position.
  3. Next, If you have room, make full swings as this drill will help with both your backswing and follow through. If you are limited in ceiling height try choking down on the club and making chest high to chest high swings.
  4. With enough repetitions of this drill after time you will translate this feeling of "connection" (your arms with each other as well as your arms with your chest and shoulders) to your swing out on the course.
