Question on Practice:

Any indoor practice tips that I can use to get better over the cold winter?

For indoor putting practice there are several things you can do, but here's a few to get you started.

Putting:

* If you have an arc stroke I would recommend putting with The Putting Arc daily to help groove the perfect path.

* If you have a straight path stroke, make a putting track with two club shafts just wider than your putter head and try grooving your stroke daily. You can also put over the line on a tile floor or a wood plank if you have hard wood.

* Practice with your head against a wall. This is good for an arc stroke. It will help keep your head steady, but will also allow you to see your putter arcing in from the baseboard on your back swing and follow through.

* Practice with a metronome to groove your tempo.

For the full swing:

* A mirror is your best friend. Make sure to set one up in your house so that you can check your swing at different parts.

* Put a club on the ground where your ball would be pointed at your target. To practice your plane your club should be pointed at the club on the ground or parallel to it at all points in your swing. Check your swing at address, after the first move of the back swing, half way up in the back swing, at the top, etc., and all the way down.
