Question on Practice:

Great question. This is the area where I believe amateurs are very weak. Alignment, pre-shot routine and rhythm are paramount here. Lay a club down between yourself and the ball, aimed at your target, while you are hitting and make sure you are squaring up to it. You need to train your eyes as to what square is before you go play. On each shot go through your complete pre-shot routine just like you are on the golf course. Make your practice swings, walk back behind the ball, look at your target line, approach the ball like you will on the course and do your waggles or whatever trigger you like to do to get your swing into motion.
