Question on Practice:

Do you remember how many balls you hit when you were learning your swing? Maybe one summer you had access to a range where you hit hundreds of balls just about every day. How essential is it to hit lots of balls when learning the golf swing?
--Roy G. from Alpharetta, GA

Hi Roy. Thanks for writing MyGolfInstructor.com. I'm excited to get to help you with your game.

I think it's important to hit as much as you can. You learn from every shot and every result. At the same time it's important to balance the amount of time you spend hitting practice balls with the amount of time you spend on the course. It's easy to get "ballitis" if you hit too many balls and never play.

Best of luck on your journey and let me know if you have any other questions.
