4 Point Aim Drill


Description: The 4 Point Aim Drill is a fantastic drill that teaches a player to adjust his or her aim on the spot to various targets. Using this drill repeatedly on the practice range will help you to adapt to different targets on the course.

Summary:
  1. Set up 4 aiming sticks (driveway poles or swing plane poles) or use golf clubs and have them all starting at the same point, but aiming at 4 different targets.
  2. Grab 4 range balls and practice hitting one ball to each target moving from left to right. Try to aim your feet, knees, hips and shoulders parallel to your target line each time. Then, do the same thing again moving from right to left.
  3. Too often we get caught up in aiming to a target that is straight out in front of us throughout our entire practice session. This drill will help you to add some variety to your practice sessions and practice realistic on course situations.
