Question on Pre-Swing Fundamentals:

What triggers do you use to ensure you are aligning yourself correctly in respect to the ball and your target?

You should always lay clubs on the ground. The best way I know is to put a club down between yourself and your ball aimed at your target or slightly left of the target by a few yards. Then lay another club perpendicular to that one so you have formed a "T" on the ground with the two club shafts. You place your ball at the top of the perpendicular club. This enables you to look down at your feet or stance and see where your ball position is as well. This way you are working on both alignment to your target and ball position in your stance at the same time! If you do this enough on the practice tee the hope is that it should happen automatically for you on the course.
