2x4 Path Training Drill

Description: The 2x4 Path Training Drill helps you groove a consistent putting path, eliminating path errors such as too far inside out or outside in.

Summary:
  1. If you are tending to take the putter head back to the outside simply set the 2 x 4 just outside the toe of your putter.
  2. Practice rolling putts pulling your putter head in slightly on an arc on the takeaway away from the 2 x 4.
  3. If you tend to take the putter head back too far to the inside (too much of an arc) on the takeaway, simply put the 2x4 on the ground just behind the heel of your putter head.
  4. Practice rolling putts by moving the putter head straight back along the edge of the 2x4.
  5. Placing your ball along the middle of the 2x4 will allow you to correct path errors after impact on the follow through as well.
  6. Practice the 2x4 Path Training Drill if you are having problems with your path and taking the putter head back too far to the outside, or too far to the inside this is a great drill for you. Note that it also works for those who tend to have path errors after impact.
  7. Practice the 2x4 Path Training Drill if you are having problems with your path and taking the putter head back too far to the outside, or too far to the inside this is a great drill for you. Note that it also works for those who tend to have path errors after impact.
