Track It Drill
Description: The Track it Drill teaches you how to make the same putting path each time and groove your putting stroke.
Summary:
- For this drill you need The Putting Arc if you have an arc stroke or if you you have a straight path stroke you will need a straight putting track (you can make a track with 2 clubs). Start at 3 feet and roll a couple putts adjusting your track until you are sure you have it aimed properly.
- Once your track is aimed, make ten putts in a row. Then step back to 6 feet and repeat the process going as far back as you like.
- If you miss a putt you need to start the rotation of 10 all over again. Make sure to try this on some breaking putts as aligning the track is great practice for reading the greens.
- Practice Track It Drill to help you perfect your putting path. By developing a consistent path that fits your style, you will groove your putting stroke and become a much more consistent putter.
