Question on Putting:

When putting a breaking putt, should I aim for the top of the hole, the center or the bottom?

Thanks for writing MyGolfInstructor.com.

I'm assuming you mean the front, middle or back of the cup. In other words if you have a putt that is coming into the cup from the right side of the cup, would you be aiming for the front edge, back edge or middle of the cup. I recommend always trying to bring the ball into the middle of the cup. This would hold true for cases when you are bringing the ball in from the front or in from the side. Aiming for the middle gives you room for error on both sides.

Thanks for the question and let me know if you have any others.
